Oakland Solidarity With New Haven: Bringing The Fight to Oakland

New Haven teachers are on strike for better pay, and to maintain student support programs and current class sizes.
Their school board walked out in the middle of a student speaker on Wednesday, and they have refused to even bargain with teachers until Day 5 of the strike!

New Haven Unified is using an outside law firm at the Fagen Friedman Fulfrost law firm. OUSD used this same law firm during our factfinding hearing.
Oakland educators are going to protest outside the firm’s Oakland office to send a message of solidarity to our New Haven sisters and brothers.
