Red for Ed Wave Coming to Oakland

OUSD refuses to pay a living wage, and provide support for teachers and students exacerbating the Teacher Retention Crisis and poor learning conditions for students.

As the Red for Ed Wave of teacher uprisings moves across America, it may hit Oakland next. On September 25, teachers across the city picketed outside dozens of schools. We will not give up until our demands are met: living wage of educators, smaller class size for students and the schools are children deserve!
