An information session and action brainstorm for community organizations and allies of Oakland teachers about the potential strike!

Saturday at 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

West Oakland Public Library

1801 Adeline St, Oakland, California 94607

Come learn more about our vision for the schools Oakland students deserve, and how you can join us in getting there. We’re fighting for smaller class sizes, more nurses and counselors, and a living wage to keep teachers in Oakland, and we know we can have all of these things without closing our neighborhood schools!

We are calling on allies to study up on this fight and bring inspiration back to your organizations for actions supporting the potential Oakland teachers’ strike.

We’re fighting for Oakland kids and for the existence of public schools in our city. This is our collective future and our town —  this fight belongs to all of us.
